Data collected

No personal data: no name, no email address, no location, no usage statistics. The only thing that leaves your iPhone is the request for AI words described below, and it contains nothing that identifies you.

What stays on your iPhone

Players' names and photos, your word pairs, your settings and the list of words already played (to avoid repeats) are stored only on your iPhone. dappy has no access to them.

Photos and camera

Odduo asks for access to the camera or your photos only when you add a player's photo. The chosen photo is copied into the app, on your iPhone, and sent nowhere. You can remove this access at any time in iOS Settings.

AI-invented words

When you choose “Mots inventés par l'IA” (AI-invented words), the app sends dappy's server the randomly drawn theme, the difficulty and the list of the latest words played. No names, no photos, no identifiers. This server, hosted by Cloudflare, forwards the request to Anthropic's Claude AI service, then sends the words back to the app.

dappy does not store the theme, the words or your IP address. The IP address is used only for the duration of the request, to limit abuse (number of requests per minute). Anthropic processes the request under its own terms and does not use it to train its models.

With the built-in library or “Mes paires” (My pairs), nothing is sent.

Third-party services

Odduo includes no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking service. Only Cloudflare and Anthropic are involved, for AI-invented words, as explained above.

Audience

Odduo is a family game suitable for all ages: the words are family-friendly and inappropriate themes are refused. It collects no data, whoever uses it.

Your rights

As no personal data is collected, dappy holds nothing about you. You can forget a player and their photo at any time (“Mes joueurs”) or delete the app. For any question, you can exercise your rights (access, correction, deletion) under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the GDPR by writing to me.

Changes

If a future version of Odduo were to process other data (for example for in-app purchases), this page would be updated before that version is released, and the date above would change.
