Requirements
iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later. An internet connection is only useful for AI-invented words. The game is currently in French.
Frequently asked questions
How does a game work?
Everyone discovers their word in secret, then describes it in turn with one word or a short phrase. The group debates and votes to eliminate a suspect, whose role is revealed. Repeat until one side wins. Illustrated rules are in “Comment jouer” (How to play) on the home screen.
Who wins?
The Originals win if they eliminate every Sosie and Ghost. The impostors win if only one Original is left. And an eliminated Ghost can win alone by guessing the Originals' word.
Why can't I choose the theme?
The theme is always drawn at random, otherwise the game gets too easy. An option lets you show it during the game; either way, it is revealed at the end.
The AI doesn't answer, what happens?
With no connection, or if the server doesn't respond, Odduo automatically picks from its built-in library and lets you know. The game goes on as usual.
How do I play with my own words?
Create your pairs in “Mes paires” (My pairs), then pick “Mes paires” when choosing the words. The definition is optional.
How do I erase players' names and photos?
In “Mes joueurs” (My players), tap “Oublier” (Forget) next to a name: it disappears along with its photo. Deleting the app also erases all its data from the iPhone.
